Today I'm reviewing/comparing the Essence Stay All Day Long Lasting Eyeshadow in 01 Coppy Right (whoa that's a long name) and the Maybelline Colour Tattoo in 25 Bad to the Bronze.
Basic Information
Formula
I have to say hands down I prefer the Colour Tatto's formula it is much more smooth and creamy making it easy to blend out but you do need to work fast if you want to blend it out. The formula of Stay All Day is a tad hard but that may be a result of the packaging. Not only is the Essence formula less creamy it can also appear patchy when you apply it using your finger or a brush. I find it difficult to smooth it out evenly.
Use
Personally I prefer using a brush to apply both, but that's mainly because I wear them without other shadows on top. If I use my fingers it looks weird and sloppy.
Longevity
The lasting power of these are A-MAZING. Coppy Right lasts 6-7 hours without a primer and 8-10 hours with a primer. Bad to the Bronze last 7-8 hours without a primer and 9+ hours with a primer. Major thumbs up.
Final Comments
These cream shadows do not crease on me at all. As a reference I have normal eyelids (aka not oily) When they fade its a bit weird they start to fade from the outer corner of my eye but its not that noticeable which I find really bizarre.
If you have one you definitely don't need the other. While there is a lot more value in getting the essence (price to weight ratio) my personal recommendation is Bad to the Bronze mainly because the quality of the shadow is a lot nicer and easier to work with.

Packaging
Both come in small twist up jars (Essence - Plastic and Maybelline - Glass). I like the compactness of the essence but being that it's plastic I feel like the product will dry up faster.
Pigmentation
The Maybelline is much more pigmented then the Essence. You don't need a lot of the Maybelline to get the full impact of the colour. Whereas you really need to layer the Essence but in saying that Coppy Right is easily buildable.
Colour
Both are BEAU-TI-FUL bronze shades with a metallic finish. Coppy Right has slightly more pink undertones but on the eyes they appear very much the same.
Side note: I apologise my camera is not quite up to scratch and the swatches are appearing more silver but they are not. I put a second set of swatches (bottom set) but the quality isn't great however they are more true to colour.
